Kim-Phuong Truong-Vu has extensive experience teaching medical sociology, gender, race and ethnicity, sexuality, general sociology, and research methods at the undergraduate level, and qualitative research methods at the graduate level. Kim has developed and taught seven different course preps, both lower and upper division and at the graduate level. These courses have been offered through the University of Miami main campus and the University of Colorado Boulder (CU) main campus and Continuing Education in both full semester courses (15- and 16-week) and block courses (5-week). She has taught courses in-person, online, and in a hybrid (synchronous and asynchronous) format, to as many as 76 students.
